....at Henricus this morning new Spring sightings :
Barn Swallow
Common Yellow Throat
Ann Miranian and I walked the loop starting from the boat ramp early this
morning. The woods are starting to become lush and green. With a light mist
all was peaceful. Although the bird species were not seen in great numbers
the birds we did see and hear were great. Other highlights:
Barred Owl (2)
Blue-winged Teal (6)
Snipe (8)
Winter Wren
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Wood Duck
Palm Warbler
Yellow-throated Warbler
Bluebird
Osprey
Black Vulture ;-)
Field Sparrow
Swamp Sparrow
White-throated Sparrow
Tree Swallow
