A quick pass through Henricus today showed sure signs of Spring:
Osprey (2) on Nest
Tree Swallows (many)
Blue-Winged Teal
Northern Shoveler
Red-winged Blackbirds flashing their epaulets and singing
Snipe
Kestrel
Bluebirds
Canada Goose (on nest)
Great Blue Heron (but not as many as I'm used to seeing this time of year)
Stacks of Turtles
