Gee, thanks for clearing that up Larry.  I don't know who you are and thought I 
had done something really, really wrong, Mr. VP.

That was the first Towhee I had ever seen in my life!  I was very excited.  
Haven't found an example of its song on-line yet though.

Thanks for the pointer on the Fox Sparrow.  I will copy the info down, Wendy.  
There doesn't seen to be much of a difference in the illustration in Peterson's 
Field Guide.  It annoys me that the illustrations are almost all from the side.
