Guess I boosted our score by submitting 3 checklists from our one (home)
location today. Right after I submitted a list of 30 species, John called me
over to look at the pair of Redheads that he'd found on the lake. Since you
can't edit a checklist after it's been submitted, that single sighting went in
as a new checklist. Then a little later, I found an Eastern Phoebe (year
bird for me) so that was yet another checklist.
Which kind of begs the question about counting the number of checklists from
a given location. If you want to get the score up, submit 30 checklists of
one species each, rather than one list of 30 species? I didn't do it
deliberately, the birds just showed up at the end of the day.
