I wrote to Kirk Cox on January 9, and followed up with an e-mail on January
26, after talking with one of his aides on the phone. In my conversation
with the aide, I was told that Kirk Cox had not taken a position on the bill,
and was asked my position, which of course I gave. I was subjected to a
similar type of grilling that our representatives were given at the meeting, so
I
wasn't surprised at the outcome!
Kirk Cox responded by letter to me on January 31. To quote "I would like to
hear arguments on both sides of the bill before making a final decision on
voting on the bill".
