Two years ago someone involved in the falcon release and subsequent
rescue efforts in downtown Richmond misplaced a pair of nice leather
gauntlets.  I ended up with them, but could find no claimants. Last call
if they are yours and you want them back.  Respond directly by e-mail.
Speaking of which, I continue to enjoy the downtown pair, with a recent
highlight last week of watching one make off with a downtown pigeon
taken from the flock that hangs out on top of the SCC building.  I have
fun some lunch times trying to identify birds from the remains around
the Bank of America Center: a highlight was a nighthawk wing found late
last fall.
