The yard has indeed been quite full of birds.  But for a few degrees I
think Wendy might be right with her "Ukrops run before the storm" theory!
 And our mockingbird has also started the dominance thing around the deck
- the only bird to stand him down is the Red-bellied Woodpecker.
White-throated Sparrows, juncos, cardinals, Mourning Doves & goldfinches
in  sizable numbers - many woodpeckers in pairs, lots of others around
alone or in small groups. 

I agree that it sure beats TV!!!!
