[va-richmond-general] Lake Anna - Red-necked Grebe & Lesser Black-backed Gull

Saturday - January 29, 2005
A Red-necked Grebe was observed from Rt. 208 where it crosses Lake Anna.
(Spottsylvania/ Louisa Co.)
A Lesser Black-backed Gull was on a pier at the marina just south of the
Lake Anna dam. (Louisa Co.)
Other birds observed included: Pied-billed and Horned Grebes,
Gulls: Bonaparte's, Great Black-backed, Herring, and Ring-billed
plus: Common Loons, Hooded Mergansers
