My Fox Sparrow was missing last winter, but has been back feeding since we
had this batch of bad weather. I had a Chipping Sparrow today, which I don't
usually see in the winter, and my fat and sassy Brown Thrasher is eating the
peanut butter while a Hermit Thrush is on the suet. Altogether a satisfactory
day staring at the yard here in Mechanicsville.
