All,
I read Allen Larner's post about a Greater White-fronted Goose near Stuarts
Draft and immediately left the house to try and locate the bird. 40 minutes
later I had the bird, a lifer, in the glass!
In terms of directions, Allen's directions were excellent, only thing I
would add is that the pond(s) are surrounded by a brown wooden rail fence.
So take I64 East from Staunton get off on the Exit 94 go ~ 2 miles and take
left onto 632. Less than 2.2 miles on your left you will the ponds between
two residential houses.
At same locale
Bluebirds -20+
Red-shoulder Hawk-1
Kingfisher -2
Canada Goose -62
If this needs to be written up I will certainly do so, I just need to get
the form somehow..
Sincerely,
W
