[va-bird] tree sparrow, merlin

On Saturday, I had a single tree sparrow at my feeder (rural Rockbridge
County). Perhaps more surprising was the Merlin we saw in the
afternoon, along US 29N in Charlottesville (near Best Buy). It was
sitting in the top of one of the sweet gums in the median, and was
flushed by a group of starlings as we waited for a light.
