VA Birders,
The highlight of our Northern Virginia Bird Club's monthly walk this
morning at Long Branch Nature Area (which includes Glencarlyn Park and a
segment
of the W&OD Trail), Arlington, was a late GRAY CATBIRD, which was eating
berries in a bush at the northern edge of Sparrow Swamp on the W&OD Trail.
Other
noteworthy birds were an adult male COOPER'S HAWK and 2 adult RED-TAILED HAWKS.
Good birding,
Val Kitchens
Arlington, VA
