Cheryl,

I have one of the three tier ones and have been very pleased. The only
problem I have had has been the leaves that fall and/or blow into the ponds.
I clean them out a couple of times a week in the fall. During the summer,
topping off the water to make up for evaporation seems to be the extent of
the maintenance. I do use barley pads to keep down the algae.
I have placed a heater in the lower pond and it seemed to do the trick for
the whole series even during quite cold and snowy weather last winter.

I have had chipmunks move in under the ponds, but it has not caused any real
problems.

Bill

considering setting one up but would like to know how much maintenance is
involved. The website says they are very low maintenance and that the pump
keeps it pretty clean, I'm just skeptical.
