[va-bird] Cape Charles update

A small vigil in the kitchen this morning produced the male Dickcissel at the
feeders between 0715 and 0815, also noted by Paul and Carol McAllister; this
bird had been present yesterday morning (seen by Steve Hairfield), but I had
not seen it. Carol also pointed out a hummingbird (!), which I barely got to
see; from what I saw, it looked to be an Archilochus, which Steve also had
seen four days ago (and I had missed that time as well). No identification on
that bird yet. The ground-dove has not put in a second appearance here; Brian
Patteson tells me there was apparently a little movement of ground-doves in
coastal North Carolina last weekend. At least three Baltimore Orioles
attended the feeders this morning, but no sign of yesterday's siskins and
Purple
Finches.
