[va-bird] Ripley Garden hummingbirds

Having a visiting relative who wanted to go to the new mammal exhibit at the
Smithsonian allowed me to go by the Ripley Garden a bit later today, and I
must've arrived about the time Laura left. An Annandale birder -- we neglected
to exchange names -- and I observed both hummingbirds (and the lovely ovenbird
and a ruby-crowned kinglet). The hummers mostly perched in nearby shrubs, but
once I saw the rufous disappear over the roof of the adjacent building. A
friend of mine got a fine picture Sunday morning and I'll post the URL if he
posts
it on a web-page.
