Hello All,
Well the Kiptopeke 2003 migration count is officially finished.  We had strong 
west winds on Saturday and Sunday making our last two count days very slow (and 
cold)!  One last Broad-winged Hawk was seen on Thanksgiving (11/27)!  This year 
was the 3rd highest count for BW here at Kiptopeke.  We had our second Goshawk 
of on Friday 11/28, and an immature Golden Eagle on 11/30 to give us an even 
dozen Goldens for the year.  Below are the totals for Nov 29 and Nov 30, as 
well as the final count for the season.  
Thanks to all of you who came to the platform this fall to help with the count 
and keep me company.  I have enjoyed the work here and hope to return next fall.
