On Saturday, the 29th, my sister & I found the drake Harlequin & the
Common Eider off # 4 CBBT island & Harris's, Clay Colored & Lincoln's
sparrows at ESNWR. The surprise of the day was a seal off island #3. I had
the scope on a flocks of mixed scoters & this seal surfaced right next to
the scoters. I hollered at my sister & she got a look at it with her bins.
The scoters scattered. Anybody know what kind of seal this may be & are they
common in the bay?
