[va-bird] FAS Waterfowl Survey

Mary Alice and I participated in the survey today too. We primarily
concentrated on Beaverdam Resovoir in Loudoun County as it was about the
only place here with open water.
By the tally sheet, these are what we had a Beaverdam:
Horned Grebe 2
Canada Goose 4151
American Black Duck 41
Mallard 153
Northern Shoveler 1
Green winged Teal 3
Ring-necked Duck 9
Hooded Merganser 36
Common Merganser 38
Ruddy Duck 18
Bald Eagle 1 Adult

Belted Kingfisher 2
