[va-bird] Short-eared Owl, Bull Run Post Office Road

All,
Greg and I watched the brief appearance of a Short-eared Owl around
5:00pm today at the traditional site on Bull Road Post Office Road in
western Fairfax County. It appeared over the crest of a hill for about
a minute and then disappeared. Prior to that, a male and a female
Northern Harrier had been coursing the field. Many robins flying over
to a roost somewhere. Also many sparrows in the hedgerows along Bull
Run Post Office Road and the field on the west side near where the
Harris's Sparrow was a few years ago. This area is worth checking out!
