Weather:
Morning temps @ 8.3C climbing to 14.0 and down to 8.5.
Few clouds in the morning changing to very light clouds by the end of the
watch. Wind was a 1 and VAR changing to a 2-3 E after several hours and
stayed that way.
Great Fall day.
Raptor Observations:
First Hawks were an Imm. RT and Female SS. Most Hawks on the East side
today with a few on the West. Great look at an Imm. NOGO @ 14:12 with the
last Hawks being 2 GE's coming through low and slow giving great looks for
us.
GE-Sub I @ 14:18 with an Imm. 5-10 seconds behind it. The Imm. GE was
absolutely the best bird of the day with the Imm. NOGO and an Imm. RT
coming in at a close second.
Non-raptor Observations:
As I was leaving a Bat flew over the watch, circled once and then flew up
the road heading NE.
Predictions:
A few showers in the morning, becoming a steady light rain in the
afternoon. High 58F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 80%. Winds @
3000ft 20-25 SE
