[va-bird] Leucistic Chipping Sparrow - Fredericksburg

I just spent the past 20-minutes observing a leucistic Chipping Sparrow
at George Washington's Ferry Farm in Fredericksburg. The bird appears
nearly white with only a light brown wash on the back and on the top of
the head. A faint eye-strip is visible, through a dark black eye. The
bill is light in color, and the legs pinkish.

The bird is in a mixed flock of approximately 20 other Chipping
Sparrows, and 3 Dark-eye Juncos. The flock is conveniently located
along the gravel drive leading to the Ferry Farm Visitors Center.

Admittedly, Chipping Sparrow is my best call...

Best,

Paul
