Howdy all,
Today started off nice and calm and very milded. But that all changed between
830 and 900 this morning. When the winds jumped to 20 mph, we caught enough
leaves to build a few large trees. Having caught only a few birds for the
morning, we called it a day early. Just way to windy to caught anything more
than
leaves. Oh well, hopefully there is a stack of birds coming this way behind the
cold front.
So this is the last post I will have to the list until Tuesday afternoon.
Hope everyone has a good weekend and hope to read about all the good birds when
I
get back from Kansas!
Here is the days short list:
Golden-crowned Kinglet 2
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1
Yellow-rumped Warbler 10 needed 11 to get to 4,000 for the
season.
Tufted Titmouse 1
American Robin 6
Hermit Thrush 1
Song Sparrow 1
White-throated Sparrow 2
Eastern Towhee 2
TOTAL ------------------------------- 26
Cheers,
Jethro Runco
