[va-bird] NSWO Banding Eastern Shore

VABirders,
Hello all. I have been running owl nets for a little over  a week now here on 
the eastern shore. Owl numbers are still fairly low but this  is likely a 
result of the warm temps. As of now I have banded 15 Saw-whets  and 4 
Screech-owls. Additionally I have retrapped 3 NSWO one bird was  caught on the 
22nd and 
retrapped at on of our separate stations about 5  miles away on the 27th, must 
have been a long walk! 

Numbers  should improve with the coming cold fronts. Good birding.
