[va-bird] Saw-whets in Rockingham County

The saw-whets are moving through western Virginia again. My first three
nights of banding, west of Bergton (Rockingham County), on Friday,
Saturday, and Sunday yielded a total of 25 owls, including one that had
been banded on 5 October at Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory in
Ontario (60 miles NE of Rochester). These are higher totals than usual
for October but I have not been open many days in October in the past.

More later,
