Fellow Birders'
Through the night of November 25/26 Fletcher Smith has banded a total of 85
Saw-whet Owls on the southern end of the Eastern Shore peninsula. He has had
14 recaptures, 2 foreign recoveries, and 1 returned individual. The hope, of
course, is that there are more headed our way with the passage of the
approaching cold spell.
Our best to all for a safe and bird-filled Thanksgiving!
