Birders,

This morning about 10:00 AM, Rosemarie and I observerd 100+ American
Pipits on Route 663 (True Blue Road) in Orange County. Rt. 663 is
about 5 miles south of Culpeper/Orange County Line (Rapidan River) ands
joins Rt. 522. Birds were located in the huge, cut corn field along Rt.
522 and 663. Best to drive along Rt. 663 and avoid the traffic. I
suspect that many more than 100 pipits are in the field but we saw or
heard one hundred.

Further south in Orange County we saw about 75 A. Pipits on Piney Woods
Road.

Good birding to all,

George Harris
Orange County
