Now for yesterdays counts on the 30th . As I was about to leave work at AMC ,
I noticed a bird in the parking lot near my truck . After getting closer it
turned out to be a single Dunlin . I think it landed there on purpose just to
lure me out to see what came down with the rains . Well it worked & here is
what I found .

Spotted Sandpiper -- 1 & the bird was there this morning making it a late date
for fall 10 -- 31
RED -- NECKED PHALAROPE --- 1 this bird was buzzed by a NO. Harrier so it took
off with all the ducks in one mass explosion ! I was unable to relocate the
bird but this makes our 3rd County record & 2nd fall record .

Ring -- necked Duck -- 9
SURF SCOTER -- 2 females As of 2 pm today the 31st the 2 SURF SCOTER'S were
