Noted at Kingstowne Lake this afternoon: pair of DOUBLE-CRESTED CORMORANTS
(juveniles?) and a GREAT BLUE HERON (without rust-colored tibial feathers).
The GBH was perched atop the aerator cage.
Kingstowne Lake is situated at the intersection (NW corner) of south Van
Dorn Street and Kingstowne Boulevard in Fairfaz County, just south of
ALexandria.
