Raptor Observations:
Few clouds, blue sky, but the flight stayed fairly low on light NW winds.
Non-raptor Observations:
Blue jays: 594 northbound, 180 southbound on day; ~200 southbound and ~100
northbound flickers in morning; red-headed woodpecker; 30 southbound and
16 northbound red-bellied woodpeckers; a few sapsuckers; heavy tree
swallow movement in morning; r-b grosbeaks; 6th Connecticut warbler of
season at banding station; blue grosbeak; over 1500 monarchs on day.
Predictions:
Sunny, 81, S wind 8-14. My kingdom for a cloud.
