[va-bird] Birds on the move on Compton Mt

VA Birders,
Yesterday 10/02 I observed 38 species in my yard here on Compton Mt as several
migrants passed through. The warblers that came through just after sunrise were
American Redstart 1 juv male
Blackburnian Warbler 1f
Black-throated Blue Warbler 2m
Black-throated Green Warbler 1f
Chestnut-sided Warbler 1 (1st year female)
Common Yellowthroat 1m
Palm Warbler 1
Tennessee Warbler 3
Yellow-rumped Warbler 1
Yellow-throated Warbler 1
Other migrants were
Blue-headed Vireo 1
Brown Thrasher 2
Eastern Wood Pewee 1
Gray Catbird 3
Rose-breasted Grosbeak 2
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1
Scarlet Tanager 2m
Today I saw my first Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (male) of the season.
