Friday morning (9/30), during the 48 degree cold snap, I finally had the
chance to do some yard birding. Much to my surprise, there were two
juvenile Red-headed Woodpeckers, a first for our yard. I also had a
Magnolia Warbler (another first) and two Scarlet Tanagers.
