If only we could have had some of today's clouds earlier in the week. 
98-100% overcast throughout the day with very brief periods of sun peaking
through.  Upper level cloud formations indicated ice crystals.
Southerly breeze 5-12 km/h
Temp:  22c (high)
Humidity: 52% dropping to 45%
Bar.Pressure: 1020


Observations:
Another slow morning with peak hour between 12-1 p.m. EST and then came to
a screeching halt by 2 p.m.

A fleeting glance of Northern Goshawk before it disappeared behind trees
on north ridge.


Chimney Swift - several impressive flocks including one with over 100
Blue Jay
American Robin
Northern Flicker
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Palm Warbler
Golden-crowned Kinglet
American Crow - 1 flock of 17

Predictions:
Hopefully more sunshine and less clouds.  (Either it's too little or too
much; could we please have it "just right"?

***Rockfish Gap Hawk Watch, VA - Established 1976***
The Rockfish Gap Hawk Watch is held on the grounds of the Inn at Afton,
located on the southern side of Rockfish Gap in the Blue Ridge Mountains,
just above where I-64 (exit 99) intersects with the southern end of the
Skyline Drive and the northern end of the Blue Ridge Parkway, just east of
Waynesboro, VA and approximately 22 miles west of Charlottesville, VA.
