[va-bird] Migrant passage

In contrast to most September nights, I'm hearing a fair flight of passerines
(warblers, sparrows, Gray-cheeked and Swainson's Thrushes, Green and Great
Blue Herons) tonight over Cape Charles; winds are not yet in the northwest, so
I
would expect more passage in the small hours. This cold front doesn't seem
especially strong, but time's running out for some of the Neotropical migrants
to get south. So tomorrow could be a decent day in southern Northampton
County, especially early in the morning for passerines and hopefully at the
hawkwatch.
