Just a bit late...My Sunday PM travels found me at Monticello Park,
Alexandria around 2pm. A few warblers provided some nice afternoon
entertainment for
assembled birders Harry Gerkin(SP?), Lara Bainbridge, Edna Aaron, Cheryl and
myself. A male HOODED Warb. continues to be seen, (the CT Warb, I was told,
seems to have departed), 2 REDSTARTS and 1 Yellowstart, 1 or 2 MAGNOLIAS, 2
OVENBIRDS and 1 BT BLUE - 1 flycatcher, staying very high, that we finally
dubbed a
PEEWEE. Paula Sullivan also reported seeing a YRUMP Warb and another birder
reported a GRAY-CHEEKED Thrush. 1 YB CUCKOO was also about....Rich Rieger
