Hola birders,
So today, if you weren't on the hawkwatch platform you were at the wrong place.
We had a killer day with lots of falcon diversity. The late afternoon
produced great low slow flights of Peregrines and Merlins. It was sweet and we
all had a good time, thanks so much to everyone that helped to and spotted some
birds today. We saw 7,771 Blue Jays today along with some other good
passerines. Here's the breakdown for today:
BLVU: 52
TUVU:4
OSPR 110
BAEA: 5
NOHA: 21
SSHA: 342
COHA: 71
RSHA: 1
BWHA: 65
RTHA: 10
AMKE: 210
MERL: 256
PEFA: 137
UnAccip: 2
total: 1286
Yeah today was sick, hope to see you out tomorrow. So pack a lunch and head on
out to the platform.
Good day and good birding,
-Sam
