[va-bird] Snow Goose at Accotink Bay Wildlife Refuge

While visiting the Accotink Bay Wildlife Refuge (Fort Belvoir VA) a juvenile
Snow Goose was spotted among the Canada Geese in Accotink Bay on 11 October.
Other highlights among the Mallards and Black Ducks included
Lesser Scaup
American Wigeon
Northern Shoveler
Northern Pintail
Ruddy Duck

Please note if you do not have a DoD sticker you will need to present
driver's license and vehicle registration at the gate, and they will inspect
your vehicle.

The Refuge's Environmental Education Center is located at the Bay, and is
open Friday - Sunday. The naturalist at the Center can tell you where the
Snow Goose was most recently seen. The Center's number is 703.805.3972.
