[va-bird] Huntley Meadows BigSit

The Northern VA Bird Club is sponsoring a BigSit Circle at Huntley Meadows on
Sunday, Oct. 12 from 6:30am - 6:30pm. We will be using the tower as our
circle. Last year this circle tallied 58 species. It's a very laid back affair,
as
all we do is count the birds (species, not #'s) we see from our circle.
I'm still looking for some advanced birders to volunteer to "anchor" the
circle for a two hour time period during the day. This is a great way for the
club
to meet and attract prospective members. If anyone is interested in helping
