[va-bird] 42 equal warblers & more O-Hill, Charlottesville

I stopped by Observation Hill this morning from 7-8:15 am. There were
lots of birds moving. I was able to observe probably 60% of what went by. I saw
42 warblers, everyone of them a Black-throated Green, including several
breeding plumage males. A Merlin flew into the big pine and stayed awhile(left
empty
handed or clawed should I say) A Raven flew over mercilessly attacked by 3
crows. They didn't let up from one horizon to the other. I also saw a juvenile
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, several purple finches(no house finches), probably 25
Robins and a Swainson's Thrush. If you go up there, be prepared for a
different view-the huge oak in the east lawn is down from the hurricane.
