We've definitely turned the corner into late fall birding. Despite favorable
weather, I only saw 5 species of warbler, and the yellow-rumps outnumbered
the others put together. Also saw my first RC kinglet of the season, and my
first flock of white-throats. The highlights were excellent eye-level views
of a Wilson's warbler and two blue-headed vireos. Highlights follow:
swifts 5
RC Kinglet 1
BH vireo 2
yellow-rump 12
parula 4
black-throated green 1
magnolia 1
yellowthroat 4
white-throated sparrow 8
