[va-bird] Shearwater and More at College Creek

All,
From approximately 6:30-11:30 a.m. today (September 2) the following were 
counted at College Creek, James City County, near Williamsburg by Tom Armour, 
Brian Taber, and myself.  What a morning! All the birds we counted were headed 
inland up the James River into the southwest wind.

Sooty Shearwater-1-first local record-extremely well-seen by all
American Oystercatcher-1-5th local record
Spotted Sandpiper-3
Ruddy Turnstone-3-11th local record
Semipalmated Sandpiper-1
Jaeger sp.-1-a local first for any jaeger species
Caspain Tern-8
Royal Tern-32+
Sandwich Tern-4-4th local record
Commom Tern-8
Forster's Tern-3+
Least Tern-1
Bridled Tern-7-second local record
Sooty Tern-14
Black Tern-175
Black Skimmer-5
Purple Martin-12+
Bank Swallow-2
Petrochelidon sp-4-5
Lots of Barn and Tree Swallows
