[va-bird] Upland Sandpiper and Golden-Plovers in Remington

Grey Hays and I went out to Remington to seek the grasspipers reported on this
listserve.
We founds among hundreds of Killdeer 1 Upland Sandpiper at Woodward Turf Farms
and 5 American Golden-Plovers off Grassdale Road. Despite diligent searching,
we could not locate a Buff-breasted Sandpiper. See Todd Day's post for
directions.
For those interested, Remington had plenty of gasoline, but regular was selling
at 2.99 per gallon. That's the extend of my driving for the weekend, except
locally.
