[va-bird] Lark Sparrow at Cedar Grove

An adult Lark Sparrow was along Cedar Grove Road (the crossroads with Rte 650 
where collared-doves have traditionally been found) a little after noon 
today.  The bird flew up from the farm field on the north side of the road to 
the 
telephone wire, then across the road to some small trees.  After perching for a 
bit, it flew to some trees back behind some trailers on the south side of the 
road.  Now through mid/late September is a good time to see this species on 
the coast, especially the outer barrier islands (Chincoteague Wash Flats, the 
trails east of Swan Cove, etc.); they seem to turn up on sandy soils when seen 
in agricultural settings.  The CBBT is also a good place to find one.
