Hi VA Birders,

A Northern VA Bird Club sponsored walk Saturday morning on the BLM's
Meadowood Management Area "Wood Thrush Trail" produced a relatively low
species diversity with only 36 species recorded. However, the lack of
quantity was offset by a few quality birds. An Olive-sided Flycatcher
treated participants to a half-hour display of singing and fly catching
about 100 yards from the start of the trail. That same area also produced
two Summer Tanagers and a Yellow-bellied Flycatcher.
