This morning I spent a couple of hours around the NY Monuments area of the
Manassas Battlefield and I really could have used some help because it was
hard to keep up with all the action. I tallied these warblers:
Tennessee
Yellow
Chestnut-sided
Black-throated Blue
Magnolia
Black-throated Green
Black & White
Blackburnian
Pine
Worm-eating
Ovenbird
C. Yellowthroat
Canada
Am. Redstart
Other highlights include: Cooper's Hawk, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, RT Hummers,
Great-crested Flycatcher, E. Pewee, Least FC, empid sp., Cedar Waxwing,
Red-eyed Vireo, Baltimore Oriole, and Scarlet Tanager.
I'm headed to Cape Hatteras tomorrow, for two weeks, so I hope you all enjoy
the fall migration!
