The Great White Heron initially found Wednesday was still present late this
morning (6 Sept) at Briery Creek Lake off US 15 south of Farmville. The bird
was also there yesterday. It has been seen from the second parking lot (with
the boat ramp) both days. A (typically colored) Great Blue Heron was also
present both days, though in a different area, beyond the end of the entrance
road.
