[va-bird] Nighthawks -- Swifts & Mississippi kite

Hello all again
This evening while trying to do some yard work . One eye on what I was doing &
the other pointed towards the sky . Well anyway half of the work got done but I
had good numbers of Chimney Swift & Nighthawks flying over my house .
Swifts numbered a total of 500 + & a total count of Nighthawks of 144 +.
Now for the Mississippi Kite -- Brenda Tekin was at the Rockfish Gap Hawk Watch
today & this evening . I received a phone call from her to spread the word that
a Mississippi Kite flew over & milled around for a while around 5 pm . So for
the birders in Augusta County & in the Southern regions of Va. be on the look
out for this bird . My wife took the call so I do not know if the bird is an
adult or Imm.
