Joel Martin of Baltimore sent the following yesterday:
On Wednesday, August 9, there were 6 juvenile White Ibises along the Wildlife
Drive at Chincoteague NWR. They were foraging in the roadside ditch from just
before the junction with Black Duck Trail to just after the road turns left.
Also, Shoveler Pool looked really good and was teeming with shorebirds. Lots
of Pectorals among others, as well as a Gull-billed Tern.
