I've been procrastinating about getting out, but I'm glad I finally did
today.
I only had to hide under the trees for a little while for some light rain.
The weather kept it cool and activity was up a bit for when I usually
get out.
I might have even gotten a life bird or two (not that that is saying
much since I've not been at it that long....)
Anyway, in addition to the easy always there birds, I found what I think
are...
Wilson's Warbler
Brown Creeper?
Eastern Kingbird? the crook on the end of the beak throws me off on this
on..\
Some little grey warblerish looking bird that I didn't get a really good
shot of
A flycatcher looking bird that reminds me of the Cassin's Kingbird in
AZ. You can't judge size too well in this picture, but it was a BIG
bird. In fact, when I first saw just the tail color and size in profile
I was thinking kestral..
And I'm pretty sure I got a female Scarlet Tanager.
Here are shots of each of these birds. The lighting was not good at all
and some of these are really crummy.
