[va-bird] Migration surprises at Monticello Park

I received a phone call from Tom Albright this afternoon as I was driving home
from work. He had 2 NORTHERN WATERTHRUSHES and a female BLACK THROATED BLUE
WARBLER earlier today at Monticello Park in Alexandria.
I drove over to the park, hoping to get a glimpse of these birds, but I got
another surprise. I saw a warbler near the bridge- large size, prominent wing
bars, buffy color, no streaking, short tail, eye line, a slight lightish
supercilium, and very light chestnut colored patches on the flanks. The legs
were dark. I really think I saw a BAY BREASTED WARBLER, shocking as it may
seem.
I am amazed.
