Now that I know for sure that it was a Chipping Sparrow, I'll dig out my
books and try to figure out why :)
I don't want to clog up the server with a bunch of "help me ID this"
posts, so I've made an ID Help directory at my PBASE site.
Not all the birds there are from VA, but some area and more will be as I
come across them. If you would like to, take a look and see if you can
ID some of these
